انتحرت امرأة في السابعة والخمسين في ضاحية باريس بحبس نفسها في ثلاجتها حسب ما أفادت الشرطة اليوم الثلاثاء. وعثر على جثة المرأة التي كانت تعاني على ما يبدو من الوحدة مساء الاثنين في ثلاجة شقتها. وقد أكد الطبيب الشرعي موتها انتحاراً. وروى مصدر أمني أن ابنة الضحية التي تقيم في منطقة أخرى "ساورها القلق لعدم تلقيها أي أخبار عن والدتها". وبعد عمليات بحث عثر المسعفون على جثتها "ملتوية داخل ثلاجة" شقتها في بلدة قرب مولان (شرق باريس). وأوضح المصدر نفسه: "لقد حبست نفسها للانتحار". وقد عثر على خمس رسائل موجهة من هذه السيدة إلى أفراد في عائلتها. وكانت هذه المرأة الخمسينية التي تعيش بمفردها، تعاني "من أعراض مرضية عدة ومن وحدة كبيرة" ما قد يفسر إقدامها على الانتحار.
